Good Friends & Bad Habits

Mrs. Lucky says I spend to much time on the internet. She thinks it that the lack of common decency and basic manners is starting to lean on my usual jovial self. I told her, "Shove it in yer blow hole, n00b!" and retreated to the comforting cathode glow for some consolation from my Xplorers buddies, H4X0r and mistyknight1972. Seriously though, I'm kind of addicted to this online board game above and by facing head on I'm going to kick the habit. Who's got the time or blood pressure budget for that bullshit, even in the middle of winter. I have to get some real board game buddies.

Holy shit! Did I just say that? In all seriousness I got linked at Evil Cycling. It's nice to know that cool kids on the fairer coast drop by once in a while. Thanks, Stevil.

Some big news just dropped here in the Great White. Not as big as the NHL evidently, because no one is giving Basillie any grief about wanting to play with the big kids. Balsillie has recruited Steve Bauer for a Canadian Elite Team to bid for the TdF. It'll take a couple of years, but we're in no rush.

In other national cycling news, there's been a press release for the CSSC 2010 at Canadian Cyclist. It's officially becoming official.

I'm out to Monkeytown for the cross race (The forecast is for -20ish C and , if you can believe it, that will be a respite from the recent freeze here!) and annual VeloNB pre-season meeting. There is definite need for a meeting of the minds, for some of our dirty brothers are behaving in the old Cain and Abel fashion. Some parties have to get on the same page and some shit has got to be put to bed. I have a club license, they have to listen to me!
